I will be taking part in Earth Hour – this is happening on Saturday, March 26. At 8:30 PM on Saturday 26th March 2011, lights will switch off around the globe for Earth Hour and people will commit to actions that go beyond the hour. We will be also having our thoughts and my prayers to japan. I am ready to make a change tomorrow.

week3- Activity 2 – How do you read a blog written in a language other than your mother tongue?

How i can read a blog that is a different language is use a translator, there is translater websites like dictionary.com. For example the teacher that blogs  Serbia i can use the translater to see what she's saying and respond with that same language.
A visitor from Colombia has come across your blog and wants to read it in their mother tongue, how will they translate it? use a translator.

Activity#4- what is a digital footprint?

A digital foot print is information about yourself, it started even before you were born for example your parents tell your family and it spreads on leaving tracks about you.
What sites have i joined?
Fackebook, twitter, Tumblr, Gmail, Yahoo, Club penguin, Photopeach, Blogger.
How much information did you give them when you joined?
I had to give my name, user name, age, birthdate, password, location.

it looks like me from the inside and the outside. i named it Jojo, its kind of like a nick name to me.
what type of personality does my avatar have-
My avatar has a sweet, kind, calm, nice, gentle type of personality. Also my avatar likes to have fashion and likes to be peppy and is a good person, just like me(: My avatar has a kind heart, also is realiable and trustworthy. My avatar's personality is loving and nice.

Qualities That Every Leader Should Have.

In today's assigment we had to make a 1 slide about leadership skills. First of all we had to pick a leader of Hawaii not in the modern days. i chose King David Kalakaua. After we were done choosing we had to learn about the ruler, such as facts and skills they had. I found that he was Smart, Happy, Friendly, Cooperative. All those skills are Qualities that every leader should have, but there are much more Qualities every leader should have such as being responible, Caring, strong, etc. These traits help to become a leader. Every leader should be Cooperative so work can get done faster and have a good bond. Then we had to compare our self to that ruler. For example he was happy because he was named after a hula compettition, the nick name he got was "Merrie Monarchy". How i compare myself to that is... every day i am happy so i can have confidience in everything that i do.

This is for the challenge week #1 *Why did i choose this theme?*
My theme for my blog is cherry blossoms. I chose this theme because it relates to me, For example i am calm, i am unique, and also i am creative.  Another reason i chose cherry blossoms is because i like cherry blossoms and because i want to see a cherry blossom tree in real life. This theme wasn't that difficult to choose beacause i wanted to have a scenery as my background, and the picture has a sky and cherry blossoms covering it. What i am looking for in a theme is creativness, and unique at the same time, i also want some fun themes that are cool. -JoleneAnne

TSUNAMI IN HAWAII !

Since Japan been hit by an earthquake by about 8.8 .. there is a chance Hawaii can be effected by it, right now we are on tsunami watch and this i sjust a warning. and if the tsunami hits it will maybe be at 2 am this morning. BE PREPPARED.
