Change number 4- Weekly AR
Another change we have is change number 4- Weekly AR. This change is here because last quarter some people chose to finish their AR's at the last minute. One of the people who didn't finish their ar earlier, during the winter fair we lost a worker because the person was reading inside of A101. When we got our AR points that we have to reach we have to divide it by 7, and what points it comes up to, thats the points that you have reach weekly. My points were 28.5 and now I have to read books around 4-5 points every week to reach my Ar weekly goals. I like this change because it motivates us all to read more, and reading is good for us. Also it helps us not to be procasinaters. Ever since this rules came in I seen more people reading and visting the library more often. This change made a impact on my life. It helped my time managment more. Last quarter I did my ar early because I enjoy reading, and I still do. I like how this change is weekly because it helps us finish our ar faster, and not wait at the last minute. We don't have to worry about it later on this quarter when we are busy and doing other things. This rule has been going on that if you don't finish your AR goal before the deadline you get kicked out of leadership. That saying motivates us to do our AR not at the last minute, because no one wants to get kicked out. In the future these changes will pay off, because we will learn from the mistakes we made in the past and learn to accept it, not run away from it. I think having points due weekly will help us finish our goals faster and reading daily.
