Hero Oral

This morning in homeroom we all did a oral about out hero. We had to present who our hero was, introduce them, why she/he is your hero, and what did you learn from this experience. I was prepared for this day, and I had my notes to help guide me while I speak. I was proud to present my hero infront of the class because i'm really glad I have someone like my sister. One thing I liked about doing the oral was, I got to learn my leadership classmates hero's more. I got to learn who inspires and motivates them to be who they are today. I was third to present my hero, and I was glad I got an oppurtunity like this. How I presented this morning was a said a greeting which was "good morning everyone", then I introduced myself to everyone. After I introduced my hero saying what she plans on doing in the future, such as having a good career, going college and traveling the world, I told my aduience why she is my hero. I said my sister is my hero because she guides me through any type of problems, it can be school work or any other typical problem I know I can count on her for anything. I can tell my sister anything and everything and she won't judge me, she helped and impacted my life. I also said she is someone who can brighten up my day without even trying. I said sometimes we have our arguments but that's what helps our connection better. I admire my sister, and look up to her as a role model regardless of the things she says or does to me. When i'm down she is always around to help me through it. She help me become who I am today, she's not only my hero, but my big sister. What I learned while doing this activity was a hero can save the day anyday. This activity made me realize that you should be lucky someone is always there for you, you should always appreciate what you have, before it's gone. In the future I would like to do something similiar like this activity, it was enjoyable to do and fun to present.
